Signup/Registration

You can enter your university name. Also Please send email to add-university@uvsity.com requesting to add your university. We will verify the data and add to our database.

Please select nearest city found.

Recommendations

You can request for recommendation only if another user is in your network. For request, visit My connections then click on Request for Recommendation. You can also request from Inbox - > Request for Recommendation.

There are two ways:

1. If someone has requested you to write recommendation, you can find request under Inbox -> Request Received

2. You can go to Compose message -> Write a Recommendation.

You can write multiple recommendations for same person. There is no edit option. Let your friend know which one to accept by sending a message.

Rating

You can find link for rating by visiting user's profile, or under my network.

Please note - the user has to be in your network for receiving rating. You can rate only once.

You can go to Compose Message -> Request for Rating.

When an user receives 100 best or 500 good or 1000 fair ratings, one star gets added to his/her profile. You can have maximum 5 stars on your profile.

User Account

You can go to "My Account" page, add an email under Privacy Settings. Select email for your primary communication.

You can change your password on "My Account" page under "Privacy Settings"

You can change your phone number on "My Account" page.

You can view your membership either on "My Account" page or "Upgrade" page.

You can upgrade your account on "Upgrade" page by selecting membership level and making successfull payment.

Please go thourgh features listed for each memberhip on "Upgrade" page.

Profile

You can edit user type on "Edit profile" page.

You can change it by start typing university name on edit profile page. If your college or school not found, type your university name. If your university not found, please send email add-university@uvsity.com with your university name, we will verify and add to our database.

Inbox

You can go to Inbox - > Compose - > write recommendation. Type name and select user. Please note the user has to be in your network to write/receive recommendation.

Session

You can create a session (free or paid) on create session page (Sessions -> Create Session).

Once you sumbit a session, Uvsity team will review and approve within 24 hrs of session submittion time if your session meets all user terms and conditions.

The session might be not meeting our terms and conditions or contains explicit contents.

You can share your session on Facebook, Tweeter etc after approval.

Go to Sessions - > My Session Account. Click on invite attendee for your session. You can invite only when session has been approved and 2 hrs before scheduled time.

Paid Session - Attendee or users have to pay to attend your session.

Free Session - no payment required to register your session.

There are limitations with number of free sessions and total duration of free sessions based on your membership level.

Public sessions are available to everyone to join however Private sessions are not visible to everyone. Only users who have received invitation can join.

Case: if you have previously conducted a session and some attendees asking you to re conduct due to some reason, in this case you can conduct a free session only for them.

Yes you can create free sessions however there is a limit with number of free sessions and duration with your membership level. Please upgrade your membership if you need to create more sessions.

Currently all sessions will be online live through third party web confrencing service such as ZOOM, computer audio/video and phone number dial in (only limited countries).

Currently all sessions are live or online as scheduled by tutors or users.

You can find your earnings on "My Session Account" page. You can withdraw anytime as soon as you have some amount. Payout is done to your paypal account associated in "My Account" page. Earnings are calculated based on fee associated with membership level. Please allow 3 business days for payout to process.

Please see membership "Upgrade" page, it varies with membership level.

My Total Earnings is the total amount you earned so far on Uvsity. Current Balance is after you have withdrawn some and amount left with us (Total Earnings - Amount withdrawn)

The amount can not be refunded if you couldn't attend due to your personal reasons. However you can always request Tutor to re-conduct session.

You can send message to Tutor on "My Enrollment" page, select "Request for Refund". Please visit our Refund Policy. After reviewing your case you may get refund.

Membership

You can always upgrade your membership at "Upgrade" page. Current membership will be inforce till current billing cycle. The new membership will begin from next billing cycle.

You can always downgrade on "Upgrade" Page. Current membership will be inforce till current billing cycle. The new membership will begin from next billing cycle.

You can go to "My Account" page and click on "Cancel Membership".

Once it is canceled, at the end of your current billing period, your membership level will be switched to “BASIC” and you will lose access to all features associated with that membership level. Your membership will end on current billing cycle and you will not be charged for next billing cycle.
